#DIFFERENCES BETWEEN GWENT ONLINE AND GWENT IN WITCHER 3 FULL#
Spies are overpowered (card advantage for almost no disadvantage), there is no counter to an opponent running spies, other than playing a full spy + decoy deck yourself.
The in-game Gwent had multiple design problems. Possibly even along side the standalone GOG game, or built in as like a 'legacy' option or something. I feel like the standalone game version took what was originally fun and buried it under unnecessarily complicated game elements like card "armor", damaging other cards, etc.ĭoes anyone else feel the same way? Why did they feel the need to add these features in? Is this more in line with other online card games like Hearthstone? I'd really like to see a multiplayer version of the original Gwent the way it is played in TW3. I like Gwent because of its simplicity and strategy, like a good simple-to-learn, but hard-to-be-great-at game like Super Smash Bros, or Golf with Friends or something. Now to the part I'd actually like to start a discussion about: I would rather play Gwent the way it is in TW3 than the way it is in the standalone GOG game. After a while I started to get the hang of it and I really enjoy playing now, and have even started playing a bit of Gwent: the Witcher card game on GOG Galaxy. Let me start off by saying that I normally don't get into computerized card games, and it even took me a long time to warm up to Gwent I didn't even take any interest in it until my second playthrough of TW3. r/Skelligers - r/freefolk equivalent of The Witcher.r/WitcherTRPG - For The Witcher Tactical role-playing game developed by R.
